USER FLOW & VISUAL IMPROVEMENT FOR A VIRTUAL CHURCH PLATFORM
AMPM is the official virtual church platform for Christ Embassy Houston, a non-denominational church with 1000 on site members and an average of 5000 online members.
An urgent need arose during the lock down in 2020 to build a custom virtual church where members could go and watch services live or re-watch services they missed.
Problem Statement:
Organization did not want to rely solely on Youtube for all their streaming needs. They wanted to keep track of those watching their services and engage them via email.
There were too many steps involved in account creation and most users entered and exited on the homepage within seconds.
Solution:
- Identify the areas of user frustration.
- Reduce the number of steps involved in account creation.
- Make it easy for users to log in and find what they came for.
My Role:
I was the Interaction/Visual designer for this role and I worked with other UX Designers and developers review and improve user flows as well as page layout.
